Wildlife and Wild Landscapes of the Americas

Wild landscapes—places where wide ranging animals freely roam—are still a part of our world. These places sustain us in ways both pragmatic and poetic. We support efforts to ensure that these places, and the people and creatures that call them home, thrive.

Jaguars are increasingly imperiled megafauna that depend on wild landscapes ranging from the southwestern United States through Mexico and Central America all the way to Argentina. Key to their survival will be protecting large blocks of habitat that are connected by functional corridors. (photo: Steve Barten)
